Hurricane Ian Association Prep. Announcement

In preparation for the Hurricane Ian that is projected to affect the Tampa area, Grand Hampton will be taking reasonable precautions prior to the storm.  The following items will be completed at Grand Hampton:

Pool Closure – The pools, spa and pool deck areas will be closed at 10:00am on Tuesday September 27, 2022 to allow the Grand Hampton team time to prep. and secure the pool area and pool furniture for the upcoming storm. 

Gym Closure – The gym will be closed at 3:00pm on Tuesday September 27, 2022 as a precaution for the upcoming storm. 

Clubhouse Closure – The clubhouse will be closed at 3:00pm on Tuesday September 27, 2022 as a precaution for the upcoming storm. 

Gates held open – The gates will be held in the open position starting at 3:00pm on Tuesday September 27, 2022 as recommended by the professional gate vendor for the Association to limit any potential damage to the gate system and to ensure the gates are not locked in a closed position during the storm, or any time after, should there be any damage to the system, a power outage, or an emergency that requires immediate attention in the community.   

The above actions will be taken as precautions for the hurricane that will affect the area and as recommended by the professional vendors that work with the Association.  After the storm has passed, we will assess the gates, amenities, and the community overall.  The gates will be closed, and the amenities will be reopened when it is deemed safe to do so following the storm.
