Guardhouse Repairs Starting and Temporary Closure of Guardhouse Guest Lane

June 11, 2024

Dear Grand Hampton Residents,

I hope this email finds you well. I am pleased to report that the guardhouse repair work will start today.  The Association has contracted with G.A. Nichols Company to complete the repairs needed. While the work is ongoing, there will be times that the guest lane cannot be used. During these times, guests will not undergo full check-in procedures upon arrival to prevent congestion in the resident lane and to prevent vehicles backing up onto County Line Road.

Please rest assured that anytime possible during the work, and when the work is completed each day and during overnight hours, the guards have been instructed to conduct the full check-in process for all guests.  The Grand Hampton staff, the guards and the G.A. Nichols Company employees will work in tandem to ensure the guest lane is opened and used fully whenever possible during this repair project.

Please understand that closing the guest lane periodically during the work is a crucial safety measure we must take to ensure the well-being of our community, the guards, the G.A. Nichols Company employees and the residents’ guests.

The Association will be actively working with G.A. Nichols to have the repairs completed as soon as possible.  The total expected repair time is 10-15 full working days, weather permitting. However, please note that with the inclement weather expected during the next several days, there may be some delays with the repair timeline. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.

The safety of our community and its residents remains our top priority. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,

Chris Haines

Association Manager
