In preparation for Hurricane Idalia that is projected to affect the Tampa area, Grand Hampton will be taking reasonable precautions prior to the storm in accordance with the Association’s Storm Plan.  The following items will be completed at Grand Hampton:
 
Pool Closure – The pools, spa and pool deck areas remain closed at this time.  The pool will remain closed until further notice after the storm, and it is safe to use the area. 
 
Gym Closure – The gym will be closed on Tuesday August 29, 2023 at 3:00PM due to the upcoming storm.   The gym will remain closed until further notice after the storm, and it is safe to use the area. 
 
Clubhouse Closure – The clubhouse will be closed on Tuesday August 29, 2023 at 3:00PM due to the upcoming storm.   The clubhouse will remain closed until further notice after the storm, and it is safe to use the area. 
 
Gates held open – The gates will be held in the open position on Tuesday August 29, 2023 at 3:00pm prior to the impact from the storm as recommended by the professional gate vendor for the Association to limit any potential damage to the gate system and to ensure the gates are not locked in a closed position during the storm, or any time after, should there be any damage to the system, a power outage, or an emergency that requires immediate attention in the community.   
 
The above actions will be taken as precautions for the hurricane that will affect the area and as recommended by the professional vendors that work with the Association.  After the storm has passed, we will assess the gates, amenities, and the community overall.  The gates will be closed, and the amenities will be reopened when it is deemed safe to do so following the storm.
