2024 Board of Directors Priority List
March 6, 2024
Dear Grand Hampton Homeowners,
As your Community Association Manager, it is my pleasure to inform you of some significant developments regarding the direction of our community in the year ahead. After careful deliberation and analysis, the Board of Directors has finalized the 2024 Priority List for Grand Hampton. This list outlines key action items and initiatives that the Board will focus on throughout the year to enhance our community’s overall well-being and functionality. This list will serve as the roadmap for the Board of Directors for 2024, guiding our efforts and decisions as we work towards the community’s shared goals. Below is the 2024 Priority List ranked in order of importance as determined by the Board of Directors:
Budget Preparation and Creation – Prepare the annual budget for the Association. This is always the highest priority to ensure the Association maintains stable assessment costs while meeting the financial needs of the Association.
Rental Property Review – Quantify the rental demographics in Grand Hampton to have a better understanding of the number of rental properties in the community to better serve future policies and directions for the overall Association.
Update Clubhouse Furniture – Update the furniture in the clubhouse to ensure the clubhouse remains attractive and functional for the use of the Members.
Committee Quorum Rule – Implement quorum requirements at the committee level to ensure active participation and productive committee meetings.
Lifestyles Committee Charter Changes – Review the Charter for the Lifestyles Committee to establish guidelines to define committee participation in events and to define guidelines to enhance volunteer and sponsor resources for events.
Website Clean Up – Review the content on egrandhampton.com to better organize the information and eliminate outdated content and information.
Golf Cart Usage Review – Review golf cart usage throughout Grand Hampton and work to create and implement golf cart registration and a golf cart use policy in the community.
Homeowner Portal Clean Up – Review the content on homeowner portal to better organize the information and eliminate outdated content and information.
Permanent Holiday Tree – Review options to install a permanent tree in the main entrance roundabout to replace the electronic tree used in prior years.
Lake Hampton Lighting – Review options to install lighting in the Lake Hampton area, specifically on the dock and walkway areas to enhance safety in these areas.
Sunday Vendor Restrictions – Review potential regulations for noise producing vendor work in the community on Sundays.
Please note that this priority list is subject to adjustments and refinements as the year progresses at the discretion of the Board of Directors. If other items come up that require our attention, the Board of Directors will consider them alongside the existing priorities. The Board of Directors remains committed to serving the best interests of our community and will continue to prioritize initiatives that benefit the collective well-being of all residents.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the priority list, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly at 813-973-8368 or chaines@melrosemanagement.com. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we work together to make Grand Hampton an even better place to call home.
